The basic principle of measurement is based on Faraday's fundamental law of electromagnetic induction.In other words, the conductive liquid makes a fitness exercise by cutting the magnetic induction line in the electromagnetic field, and the induced electromotive force is generated in the electric conductor. In measuring flow, fluid mechanics passes through an electromagnetic field that bisects vertically the direction of the subject activity.The subject activity of the conductive liquid magnetically induces a working voltage proportional to the symmetrical water flow (i.e., volume flow), thus begging the subject activity liquid to be measured to have a minimum limit of conductivity.Its magnetic induction is detected through two electrodes directly touching the liquid, and is transmitted through a cable to the amplifier, which is then converted into a consistent output data signal.This type of measurement has the following advantages:

 

1. Measure the unobstructed flow parts in the pipe, so no additional working pressure is lost.

 

2. Because the data signal is composed in the indoor space containing all electromagnetic fields, this is the uniform value on the cross section of the pipeline.Therefore, the connection between the electrode plane and the upstream and downstream plane of the controller needs to be relatively short, with a length of 5×DN(DN is the internal diameter of the hose).

 

3. Only the pipe and electrode can touch the liquid under test.Therefore, as long as the effective choice of electrode and pipeline lining materials, you can reach the request of anti-corrosion, anti-wear.

 

4. The output data signal of the controller is an electromotive force linearly related to the symmetrical water flow.

 

5. The measurement results are irrelevant to the main physical parameters such as working pressure, temperature, relative density, viscosity and conductivity (many of which are less than the minimum conductivity) of the liquid, so the measurement is highly accurate and the daily task is firm.
